Homelessness Action Week 2008

This is our third annual Homelessness Action Week in Burnaby. This initiative is now province wide and organized by the Regional Steering Committee on Homelessness and Ethos Strategy Group.

See the website at www.stophomelessness.ca

Events in previous years have resulted in the week being declared Homelessness Action Week by Burnaby Mayor Derek Corrigan and Council. The Burnaby events have also provided access to health care and outreach workers for many people in need. See the outline of events below for Homelessness Action Week Oct 12-19, 2008
