URGENT ACTION REQUEST

The Burnaby Extreme Weather Plan provides for sheltering spaces to be made available when the

weather is severe enough to pose a higher health risk to homeless people. Alerts are called on a daily

basis.

The purpose of this notice is to inform that an Extreme Weather Alert has been called. Shelter spaces

are being provided at

 

 

St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church

.

We ask all recipients of this Alert to:

1. print the attached poster on bright YELLOW paper and post it in areas which

homeless individuals may see it

2. notify all your staff that the Alert has been called and ask them to spread the news to

the homeless they come into contact with; and to refer people to the:

We understand that a cold weather snap will stay to mid next week and if so we will

inform you of continued openings.
