Twice Feels Nice

BURNABY – The Burnaby Task Force On Homelessness is collaborating with local businesses, agencies, schools and faith communities to gather donations of clothing, blankets and food for Burnaby’s less fortunate.

The theme for this event is Twice Feels Nice.
“It feels nice to share your used items with someone in need.”

“Daily we see the outpouring of support from Burnaby citizens who are concerned about their neighbors who are living in extreme poverty and homelessness.” Wanda Mulholland Burnaby Task Force On Homelessness

“We are grateful for the support demonstrated by Lougheed Town Centre, PODS Moving & Storage, Starbucks and Creekside Community Church. We know that these donations will be greatly appreciated.”
Wanda Mulholland Burnaby Task Force On Homelessness.

The Burnaby Task Force On Homelessness invites any interested persons to bring their donated items
on Saturday March 9th between 10:00am and 4:00pm and
Sunday March 10th between 11:00am and 4:00pm
beside the Lougheed Sky Train Station entrance on Austin Ave in Burnaby.

The most urgent needs at this time include clean new or gently used blankets, and clothing for adults: coats, jeans, sweaters, shoes and boots. All donations will be distributed by the Progressive Housing
Society Homeless Outreach Program.

Thank you for your support.
