It Takes A Community To End Homelessness

BURNABY – SPARC BC and the Burnaby Board of Trade have partnered with the Burnaby Task Force On Homelessness to create a short video which outlines the issue of homelessness in Burnaby and the multi faceted collaboration which is working towards solutions in Burnaby. This initiative has been funded by VanCity and the United Way.

  “The launch of It Takes A Community To End Homelessness is part of a series of events throughout Burnaby for Homelessness Action Week Oct 13-19,” said Wanda Mulholland of the Burnaby Task Force On Homelessness.

“Burnaby’s Inter-Faith Community has been chosen for the launch of this video in recognition of their significant contribution in working collaboratively towards finding solutions to homelessness in Burnaby,” stated Mulholland.

The Inter-Faith launch and World Café of It Takes A Community To End Homelessness is scheduled for Tuesday October 15, 2013 Shadbolt Centre for the Arts Room 103 6:30pm- 8:30pm. Preregistration is requested before Oct 8, 2013 by contacting info@burnabyhomelesstaskforce.org or 604-317-8114
