This special event hosted by Progressive Housing Society was held at West Burnaby United Church on Thursday Dec 5th, 2013.

Outreach Christmas provided a fun filled and festive celebration for many people who deal with homelessness and extreme poverty and may not normally celebrate the Holiday Season.

Approximately 318 people were in attendance at Outreach Christmas 2013.
246 people were assisted by
the 3 staff of Progressive Housing Society,
10 service providers,
49 volunteers from Vancity, Charlford House and the community
and 10 dignitaries.

Outreach Christmas hosted: a pancake breakfast, coffee, pastries, hockey tournament, learning , scrapbooking and clothing tables, BC211 display, nurse and nurse practitioners, guessing game, Santa arrived with presents for all, photo opportunities, entertainment, turkey lunch, bingo and assorted festive games in the afternoon.
